Really good Amenities and Service
excellent amenities separate pool
I really enjoyed the excellent amenities. The separate adult pool was a definite plus for us. I especially enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan food. The staff at Gimanhla Lounge were friendly and helpful. Pasindu and Akila were excellent.
the water still and sparkling was not included in the all inclusive package. The lobby looked excellent, but the corridor to our room smelled damp. I felt the hotel room was dated and not up to Shangri-La standards.

Kaveesha was an really good staff member and really went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. She checked to see if we liked the food and service. I appreciated that there were lifeguards at the beach and at the pools, a great safety measure.

The rooms were clean and beautiful. They offered breath taking views of the surrounding landscape. Everything was very nice and contributed positively to my stay.

underwhelming stay with service issues
inattentive staff slow service
the gym had plenty of machines, i suppose.
i found several issues. the service was slow, and the staff seemed inattentive around the pool. i was also asked for tips more than once, even though the service was often below average.
